A lovely review from one of our the participants of the Make a Ring in a Day Workshop that we held on the 15th June:
Katie’s ‘“Make a Ring in a Day” Workshop was a very exciting and rewarding experience for me. I went into the day having absolutely no idea what to expect, only knowing that by the end, I would have my very first self-made ring. There were only three of us in the workshop, a perfect set up allowing for Katie to generously help us individually, as well as for us to work on our own. I had never made anything like this before and was honestly quite nervous, but Katie’s confidence, patience, knowledge and love of the art form put me at ease; she described to us every step slowly and in detail. Her hospitality never fails, she even provided lunch, cake, and coffee for us. I would definitely recommend attending this workshop to anyone. Whether you’re interested in jewellery making or just want to try something new, this experience will not disappoint! Gabby Jensen.
Der „Ein Ring in einem Tag“ Workshop von Katie war für mich aufregend und hat sich gelohnt. Vor dem Workshop hatte ich keine Ahnung was mich erwarten wird, ich wusste nur dass ich meinen ersten selbstgemachten Ring gestalten werde. Wir waren nur zu dritt, eigentlich perfekt weil Katie genug Zeit für uns alle gehabt hat. Im Ernst, ich war ziemlich nervös weil es für mich das erste mal war mit Katie Metallschmuck zu machen, aber ihr Vertrauen, ihre Geduld, ihr Wissen und die Liebe zur Kunstform beruhigte mich. Sie erklärte alles ganz langsam und ausführlich. Ihre Gastfreundschaft war super, sie hat für uns Mittagessen, Kaffee und Kuchen gemacht. Ich empfehle diesen Workshop wirklich jedem, egal ob man sich für Schmuck interessiert oder einfach nur etwas Neues ausprobieren möchte, diese Erfahrung wird niemanden enttäuschen.
